Networked for Healing: The Healing Center Opens its Doors

The Healing Center’s newest medical marijuana dispensary in Cranberry showcases technology on its menu.

From Wifi access points to hooking up point-of-sale card readers, DES installed all the IP technology in The Healing Center’s newest medical marijuana dispensary in Cranberry, PA. Each desktop computer was uniquely installed into modular office furniture, the IP phone system configured, the ATM machines powered with data connectivity. The tech room which houses the structured cabling data, showcases DES’ signature style: an uncompromising attention to detail and accuracy. The Healing Center

Point of Sale Workstations. We networked the series of cashier stations, including desktop computers and point of sale credit readers.

Digital Menu Boards. Three 65" Smart TV menu boards greet visitors, and clearly display The Healing Center's menu of medical marijuana offerings. The software is interactive and updates with current selections.

Reception Area. We provided the desktop computers, printers and the phone system. The phones in the reception area have a digital screen and are the Fortinet 575 which allows for 4-digit internal calls within the entire Healing Tree network, over three Pennsylvania locations.

Inviting Lobby Area

Data Jacks for ATM Machines & Sound System. We installed the data jacks for these ATMs. Notice the speakers up in the corner: it's a part of a 4 speaker sound system for the sales floor that allows audio to be played from multiple sources, including AM/FM radio. Further speakers are located in the administrative offices and are zoned to allow for separate volume control and playlists.

Office Technology. We equipped and networked all the IP technology including computers, printers and phones. We selected and installed unique mounts and articulating arms for each monitor, according to that office workers preference.

Director of Security Office. We installed and networked this screen-intensive office so that the security personal can view activity from three Healing Center locations across the state.

Conference Room. The 65" interactive Promethean displays allows for easy video conferencing and touchscreen interactivity. The Extron SmartSound Bar with Camera gives attendees crisp audio and video. Cable cubbies nested in the conference table allow for devices to hook up on the table.
